A few months ago the company of painted papers Coordonné He contacted me. I thought it was amazing that they looked at my works, especially my painted murals, and called me to collaborate with them.
They were preparing a great project. They tell me they were 40 years old and they wanted to celebrate by meeting 40 artists. Each would make a drawing, design or mural for them with absolute freedom, a different collection of papers. And not only that, they also ask me for more drawings for their new Chinoiseries collection!. What an honor.
Whenever I'm called for a project, a spark is turned on that automatically begins to imagine possibilities. It's exciting, it's magical that they call you, that they want your ideas, and also, along with artists like Coco Dávez, Mireia and his Things, Jordi Labanda, Easter Ortega... among many others.
He had little time to deliver the drawings so then I started looking at books, painting sketches, drawing options. This part of the creative process is one of my favorite. Ideas flow fast and they love! doubly wonderful. Thank you and a thousand thank you Helena Agustí and Conce Fiol.
